Vaginal Plastic Surgery - An Introduction
Dr. Michael Lau is a gynecologist specializing in vaginal (or pelvic) plastic surgery and urogynecology, and his surgical expertise is recognized by his election to be a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (FACOG). Dr. Lau was trained as a urogynecologist to perform complex plastic and reconstructive surgery in the female genital area under Dr. C. Paul Hodgkinson, the world renowned pioneer in urogynecology and pelvic surgery.
Dr. Lau then spent two years of preceptorship under Dr. Robert Alexander and Dr. Kenneth Tucker, cosmetic and plastic surgeons, to learn cosmetic surgical techniques and procedures. With this unique and excellent combination of training in both vaginal (or pelvic) surgery and cosmetic surgery, Dr. Lau performs a full range of vaginal plastic and reconstructive surgery, especially for aesthetic purposes.
